Frequently Asked Questions

Yes admissions are open at SISA Online (as well as for the On-Campus classes). Our academic session begins in Aug-Sept and ends in May-June. The busiest time for admissions at SISA is from June – Sept and then from Jan – March. However we do accept admissions during the academic session (i.e) rolling admissions.

Yes, SISA Online School also has a tutoring section as well, in which students can enroll for specific subject(s). The student(s) would have an orientation session with the teacher during which they can discuss the problem areas and decide on how to proceed with the lessons. Conversely, if the student(s) may also join the entire programme or go with the main subjects (for example) English, Math, Science, Computers (for junior classes). If you feel you are late in applying – do not worry! Join SISA and let us take care of the rest. Our staff will assist your child catch-up with whatever work/classes he/she has missed and get him/her at the level of the class.

Once again, SISA Online offers the students and their parents/guardians the flexibility to choose whether they want to enroll for the: (i) TARGETED TEACHING OPTION or (ii) GROUP STUDY / HYBRID OPTION – both options are available! The fee is charged accordingly.

TARGETTED TEACHING OPTION:
  • Less students – usually 1 – 3 studnets.
  • Course taught can be that of your chils’s school or if you choose we can teach our International Oxford Curriculum.
  • There is some flexibility in timing, since it is a separate group/individual.
  • Students can attend co-curricular activities such as Speech Competitions, Art Competitions, Essay Competitions etc.
    GROUP / HYBRID OPTION:
    • The student(s) join our existing class.
    • There are students who are present on campus in our classroom and online students log-in to that class. So there are students studying in the classroom as well online.
    • Course taught is our International Oxford Curriculum (aligned with O’ & A’Levels).
    • Time is determined by the time table of the school.
    • Online students normally study 4 subjects (English, Math, Science and either Computers or Urdu). However if online students want to study more than 4 subjects (such as History, Geography, Art etc) then the fee is slightly higher.
    • Students can attend co-curricular activities such as Speech Competitions, Art Competitions, Essay Competitions etc.
One of the most attractive features of SISA Online is the interactive, highly adaptable and truly international curriculum being taught. Once again, we offer the student(s) and their parent(s)/guardians the flexibility to either follow our curriculum which is based on the updated course from Oxford University Press (OUP). This is perfectly in line with the syllabus requirements for GCE O’ & A’ Level (Cambrdige, Edexcel, AQA & OCR etc). Conversely, the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the students have the choice to have their child taught the same syllabus as is/was being taught at his/her school (Targetted Teaching Option). All you need to do is to share with us the course outline (books etc) of your child’s school and SISA Online would take care of the rest!

Upon successfully passing class tests/assessments, term exams, the student(s) are issued official SISA Report Cards (signed by the Principal). Yes. We recommend that you attend at least one or two demo classes before you finalize your child’s admission at SISA Online School. It serves 3 very important purposes:

  1. The student gets to meet his/her teacher(s) which is important for developing a healthy teacher-student relationship.
  2. The parent(s) get to meet the teacher(s) and discuss their child’s academic history with the teacher. If the parents have any further queries about the teaching methodology etc. they teacher would be glad to address those concerns as well.
  3. The teacher can assess the child academically and advise the parent(s) on how to proceed with his/her studies to get the best possible outcome.
